Our club was incorporated on December 9, 1981 in the state of Florida. However, it has been in existence since 1959. Our purpose is to foster the breeding of better German Shepherds, encourage and participate in the holding of shows, trials and other public exhibitions of the German Shepherd, foster the education of the novice Shepherd fancier, help displaced German Shepherds find loving homes, and to further acquaint the public with the German Shepherd Dog.
Our Club is a member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America (our parent club).
Members of our club are involved in a variety of activities with their German Shepherds, including obedience competition, the breed ring, agility, herding, as well as SAR (Search and Rescue). If it is something fun we can do with our dogs, we usually have members doing it!
